The Battle...

My little guy continues to get bigger and bigger!  This weekend he turns 10 years old!  Double-digits - Yikes!
No celebration in my heart, but I still had to fake it and host a party :)
We had Battlefield Live come out and set up a... BATTLEFIELD!  Bet you didn't guess that :)
So much fun!!  Highly recommended for any age group.  We had 8 - 16 year olds and Joey even got in on the action for a little bit.  Jake had a blast!

There is Lauren practicing her dive and roll.  Hmmm... Looks like it hurt!

And here she is directing her secret service "detail".  During this game, one group was in charge of keeping Jake, the President, safe as he traveled across the battlefield.  The bad guys tried to get through his detail and take him out....

Lauren spent so much time strategizing that Sienna, a bad guy, had time to attack!

And here is brave Lauren, panicking and leaving the President behind!  She was completely out for herself!  Horrible display of how to protect a President!
  Never fear America, she will not be allowedto apply to the CIA, FBI, or any possible agency that protects anyone of importance.  Poor Jake was surrounded by bad guys within seconds!  Notice her running AWAY!!  

Agent Lauren was promptly fired and the new detail delivered the President safely to his destination.

There were battles and games and team-switching and target shooting and we even ended the night with a hand grenade water balloon toss contest.

And tomorrow, at 7:30 am, my biggest girl officially becomes a Sophomore!  I can hardly believe it...
