We told stories about wearing the original "boyfriend jeans" - 501s with a perfect roll, me sleeping through classes, Lisa never missing one single class, scootering through Westwood, living in LA during the riots, eating Carl Buddig meat?? on bagels (gross!), and being soooo proud of our apartment even though our moms hated it! (It was across the street from a huge cemetery and the kitchen probably should have been condemned.) But we LOVED it because it had the only rooftop access that was perfect for our own personal tanning area.
Lisa and I have loved each other since we were 17 years old, plotting our first of many ill-advised trips to Tijuana for my 18th birthday... thankfully my dad doesn't read this blog :)
We've shared heartaches (lots of them) and joys (more of those!), studying for finals and college graduations, ugly bridesmaid dresses and first real jobs, marriages and births. And I did not even hold it against her when her first words regarding my beautiful baby Lauren was, "Oh my gosh, is her cone head going to stay like that?"
I am so truly blessed to have a friendship that has endured almost 25 years and a friend who still giggles with me over things that nobody else will ever find funny :)
Here are some pics of our fabulously fun vacation:

Fun on the tubes!
We even got the little ones out on the tubes. They felt safe cuz they were with the Champions of the tube wars. Have I mentioned that already?
The most beautiful sunset over the lake
And now... for the Grand Finale...
Jill and Lisa circa. 1990 sporting original boyfriend jeans, awesome pointy shoes, and a can and a half of Aqua Net! Drumroll please.....
But what in the world is up with that TV and horrible couch?????
Our parents should be ashamed for outfitting our apartment in that way :)
